The goal of the Project is to “prepare Governmental primary schools & other formal schools to accept diverse educational needs of Children with disabilities (CwDs) and increase the enrolment rate and learning level of CwDs and reduce the dropout rate by ensuring accessible and modified teaching and learning methods (TLMs) to deliver quality education.” The intervention was initially conducted in 3 districts (Lucknow, Barabanki, and Sitapur) with 12 govt. primary schools in 2018.
SPARC-India has currently started another intervention in 10 Govt. Primary Schools of Lucknow for the first phase from 1st April 2022, which is funded by SBI Foundation.
OBJECTIVES:
The general objective of the project is to increase the enrolment and to reduce the dropout rates of CwDs in the regular government education system and creating an effecting learning environment for all the children of selected schools.
