Community Empowerment: Empowering marginalized communities, especially parents and CwDs themselves, is crucial for creating a demand for inclusive and systemic changes in service delivery mechanisms. This could involve awareness campaigns, capacity-building workshops, regular meetings, and involving community members in decision-making processes.
Synergy and Integration: Collaboration with allied departments such as Education, Disability affairs, health, social welfare, and ICDS, can amplify the impact of inclusive education initiatives. This might involve coordinating resources, sharing best practices, and aligning goals and strategies.
Knowledge Enhancement: Empowering people’s collectives with updated knowledge about inclusive education practices ensures that service users are well-informed and can advocate for their rights effectively. This could involve training sessions, peer learning networks, and resource dissemination.
