SPARC India is serving 30 CWDs (Multiple disability, Cerebral Palsy & Mentally Challenged) with and 80 PWDs (Multiple disability, Cerebral Palsy & Mentally Challenged) to provide them better education, health facilities, adequate livelihood and other entitlements. Earlier slum areas of Khadra and Bansmandi in Lucknow district were covered under this program.

In the initial phase of rural CBR program, SPARC India covered Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and Children with Disabilities (CWDs) in 200 villages of Deva Block of District Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. In its endeavour to organize and educate PWDs about their rights and raise their issues with several government functionaries and public representatives viz. ANMs, Panchayat's members, teachers, block level and district level administrative officers, SPARC India started another Community Based rehabilitation program in association with CORDAID in rural areas (63 villages) of another adjoining block Nindura of the district Barabanki in the year 2009-10. Since its inception, SPARC India has received tremendous support for its urban and rural CBR programs and has considerably scaled up the operations of these programs to reach out to more and more disabled persons to enable them to lead better lives.
